As Council Chairperson for MD 201, 2019-20, let me be the first to welcome and encourage you all to attend the up and coming exciting Multiple District Convention being held in Adelaide, 15th – 18th May 2020.
The Convention committee are all hard at work and will be placing updates on the website as events are finalised, so watch this space.

Come and join us in Adelaide for the 2020 Lions Multiple District Vision for the Future Convention, May 15th to 18th.
Yours hosts will be Lions from MD 201, Districts C1 and C2.
The convention venue will be the spacious Adelaide Showgrounds with a Gala Dinner at the recently renovated William Magarey function room at Adelaide Oval.
Attend seminars, forums, meetings and workshops, and browse the wide range of booths with information about many Lions Projects and Foundations. Present your toothbrush at the Convention Information Booth to enter a free raffle.
While in Adelaide, visit the exciting Lions Hearing Dogs program, based at Verdun in the nearby Adelaide Hills.
Don’t forget to pack your Sense of Adventure, Sense of Humour, Sense of Taste, Sense of Curiosity … oh and a toothbrush … for the experience that is Adelaide, and the 2020 Lions Multiple District Convention.
And … Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush
Conventioneers coming to Adelaide for the 2020 MD201 Lions Convention can present their toothbrush at the information desk to receive a ticket in a free draw to win a basket full of South Australian produce.
If they choose to bring a new toothbrush and leave it for the District C2 Sleeping Rough Project they will receive a bonus ticket.
Any donations of mini toiletries that will be distributed through emergency toiletry packs to those in need in the community by the Lions Club of Edwardstown, will also qualify to receive a bonus ticket in the produce basket draw.
While you are in South Australia, you can visit interesting places like: Barossa Valley, Aldinga Buddhist Temple, Victor Harbor, River Murray, Hahndorf, McLaren Vale tourist region, some of the best beaches in the country, museums, War Memorial, Botanical Gardens, Wine Centre, historic Port Adelaide and Mount Lofty lookout.
Enjoy the variety of Adelaide cuisine and amazing scenery on the mainland or Kangaroo Island.
Bush walk through the Flinders Ranges, experience the Adelaide Oval roof climb, sample S.A.’s best wines, meet the Pandas, cruise along with the Port River dolphins and enjoy plenty of shopping.
